DANCE FOR SYD LAWRENCE

Come together to show support for Syd and to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

An important charity event to raise money for Bristol’s legend, Syd Lawrence has seen a City of DJ’s and artists unite. Having established himself as one of the country’s top Cricketers, after a tragic knee injury Syd became one of our beloved local celebrities, promoting & shining a spotlight on our City’s trailblazing music scene. The devastating news that Syd as Motor Neuron Disease has rocked the city & a charity fundraiser has been organised at @losthorizonhq on Thursday 27th February.
Syd Lawrence was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in June 2024. MND is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. There is no cure for MND but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on a person’s daily life. Syd has always been passionate about music over the decades, from a Jazz dancer to opening The Dojo which was a key venue as part of Bristol’s nightlife scene for 25 years.
Exclusive art auction and a top prize raffle.

Plus exclusive T shirt offer by @inkiegraffiti to be announced soon.
With a lineup that has not been seen in a really long time, you won’t want to miss this. Get your tickets now for this incredible event knowing you will be helping raise vital funds for David ‘Syd’ Lawrence.
