Sharing the magic from 2-4pm on the 1st Saturday of every month, Ujima’s newest DJ has travelled the world for work and pleasure, Malcolm has curated for some of the world’s most prestigious events, clubs and festivals for over 4 decades from Glastonbury to St Paul’s Carnival to Dismaland to name just a few and these all are reflected in Malcolm’s eclectic, beautiful and bountiful knowledge of music. Malcolm is now the landlord at Bristol’s iconic Star & Garter in Montpelier, Bristol.
DJ MAC 3 aka Mark Mills is one of Ujima’s longest serving DJ’s and presenters. Mac 3 has earned his stripes as one of Bristol’s Top Radio & Club DJ’s so make sure you join him live every Monday mixing up the very best in fresh and classic tracks on Ujima Radio.

Rev Palmer returns to Ujima Radio to host this special health and wellbeing show every Monday 12-2pm LIVE on Ujima Radio.
Rev P is a New Thought Practitioner, she studied Metaphysics in America, got a Doctorate in Wellness & Wellbeing.

Wellnessology: The Power of Everyday Wellness
Dawnecia Palmer aka Lady Dawnecia Palmer started writing at the tender age of five. In 2015 following a major heart surgery, she was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue. A time she calls ‘my days of gross darkness and despair.’ In an effort to help her cope, she developed and created a system of opposites, using thoughts, words, feeling, and pictures, a principle she named Wellnessology. After 30 consecutive days of using the principle, she said, “I began to thrive, beam, and even soar on what seem to me ‘clouds of hope and delight.”
She still uses ‘the principle’ today, and continues to thrive beyond her diagnosis, citing Wellnessology as a lifestyle.
Over the years the principle has further developed, evaluated, and proven to be helpful for hundreds of people, in various parts of the world. Building on this work, Wellnessology soon became an alternative healing modality, and is today one of the foundational teaching modules for a leading Alternative University based in the UK.
Lady Palmer is an inspirational writer, certified health and wellness practitioner, a pioneer in the art of Breathology, and Breathomics.™ She is also a global spiritual leader/teacher, public speaker, serial entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
Dawnecia is passionate about preserving nature and the planet, standing up for justice, fairness, and equity for all people. She mainly resides in the UK.

1st Saturday of every month is DJ Xcel- playing an exclusive mix of back to back new releases, reggae and one drop for 2 hours. We are so proud to include DJ Xcel on our roster of talent, having established and earned her stripes as a DJ in her own right, we are very proud to have the daughter of the pioneering and iconic Ranking Miss P and niece of Rita Marley on our airwaves.

Every 2nd Saturday of the month will be Peter D Rose from Smith & Mighty & More Rockers. Playing a mix of 140’s, dub, reggae, jungle and electronica. Peter D is one of the pioneers and originators of the world renowned Bristol Sound!
Flynnites – DJ & Producer
Last Saturday of the month is DJ & Producer, Flynnites hosting his unique blend of tunes for 2 hours. Flynn is one of the originators of the Bristol Sound, playing Hip Hop to DnB, Flynn represents with his own style of electronica. Kicking off his trailblazing career with Fresh Four and the timeless track “Wishing on a Star” produced by Smith & Mighty to the years of DJ-ing with Jungle Pioneer Flora. Docta Flex is one of Ujima’s original DJs, specialising in dancehall. Known throughout the UK and Caribbean, Docta Flex has a well earned rep as bringing alive any party as an MC and DJ.
The Wordlife Show hosted by Krazy – a well established artist, producer, record label owner and promoter from the city – he and the team have a special guest artist on the show every week.
Krazy plays a variety of music from local and global names. With the special guest artist co-hosting and introducing their music. For the last part of the show the artist is interviewed and then performs some of their material live.
The interview and freestyle segments are recorded, filmed and edited by Venomous Visuals and released on The Wordlife Official You Tube channel.
