The Rise Up Breakfast with Valentin, Marsha, Jhemir & Ikram

My name is Marsha Marie and I am on of an amazing team of three presenters of the Thursday morning Rise Up Breakfast show. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Ujima family.
Having moved from Scotland to Bristol 5 years ago, I fell in love with the South West and now call this ‘home’. I am passionate about improving the health of my community, and am fortunate to work in this area.
If you can’t find me, I’ll probably be on the tennis court hitting fuzzy yellow balls, on a flight some exploring the world, sometimes just one day at a time on an Extreme Day Trip or finding real peace at my local church.

Hi! My name is Jhemir Stanley and I’d like to say I wear many hats. I’m an audio producer, show presenter, amateur filmmaker, and journalist. I currently co-host the Thursday RISE UP show with: Valentin, Ikram, and Marsha a marvelous cast. I also have aspirations to host my own show in the future, so stay tuned for that. I also play American football and in my down time I enjoy cooking.

Hey, I’m Ikram Srahna! I’m a Moroccan journalist and MA Journalism grad who somehow ended up trading the North African sun for the south west rain .. and I love it. I co-host the Thursday Breakfast Show on Ujima, where we mix good music, real talk, and a lot of laughter to kick off your day.
