One of the latest DJ’s to join the Ujima fam is Ray Keith you can listen to his exclusive mix on the last Saturday of every month at Midnight on Legends In The Mix on Ujima Radio!  We are proud to announce that you can come & join us watch this true innovator perform live, some of his most celebrated classics alongside his brand new band. Ray has pulled out all the stops so expect a whole bunch of surprises throughout the evening. Plus he will be going b2b Nicky Blackmarket.

Mary In The Mirror’s uniquely soulful and sultry vocals provide the finishing touch on a bass-heavy, hip-hop and RnB backdrop, combining vocal elements of folk and soul which have been compared to the likes of Bjork and Kate Bush. Her lyrical content is frank and no-holds-barred, and evokes honest storylines of honesty and hardship. Mary brought her powerful and mysterious vocals to the studio for live performances of ‘Beautiful Places’ and ‘Enough’.

Jimmy Galvin is organising and playing at a fundraising concert for Bristol Drugs Project at the stunning Mount Without on April 27th.

Tickets are £15 and available now from Eventbrite.

 

Jimmy Galvin is a composer, producer, arranger and visual artist, who has composed music for the BBC, Channel 4 and the award winning independent film Lido.

He has also exhibited alongside artists such as Sir Peter Blake, Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley, as well as being responsible for bringing an exhibition by Yoko Ono to the Georgian House in 2019.

 

The concert will feature:

REVERB / Harp and Voice duo

KETIBU / Acoustic Set

MARK ELY/ Featuring a 20 Piece Choir

This will be a stunning concert in the memorable setting of The Mount Without
