Former Ujima Presenter hits dizzy heights as Professional DJ & Journalist!

Out of 5,000 applications, former Ujima Presenter & now BBC Journalist, Dawn Limbu aka DJ Chiedza has made it as one of the 36 artists to be awarded a residency with @pirateofficial!!

Huge congratulations to Dawn from all your Ujima family.
Pirate received 5,000 applications for a Pirate Residency 2023 but only 36 artists were chosen. They will have their music played on the radio and will perform at venues and festivals across the UK, US, and Germany. Now we’re asking you to cast your vote and support DJ Chiedza in the public vote to decide who will receive £/$/€10K in free studio time and 1:1 mentoring.
